A quilt is a work of art.
Each has its own unique character and style based on the composition of the piecing, as well as fabric and color choices. Quilting stitches that secure the top, batting and backing fabric are like the "icing on the cake," adding a final layer of texture or motifs. The choice of stitching pattern plays a supportive visual role, enhancing the piecing in the quilt top.
How do we start the process?
Please print out and complete an Intake Form, and include it inside a bag with your quilt. All the information is available here on my website, or call/email me with questions.
If you don’t have any questions, you’re welcome to drop off your quilt anytime, leaving it in the large box by our front stairs. Or call me to schedule an appointment to meet, which gives us an opportunity to discuss the choices being made and audition thread colors on your quilt top.
